Generic eCHR Data WF Action

You need to contact Eyelit MES support to help you set up a Generic eCHR Data WF Action.

This line type caters for requirements that are not covered by the existing line types. It allows any data of your choosing to be included in the eCHR.

Configure Generic eCHR Data WF Action

  1. In eCHR Profile, create/select a section and click the New Config button.
  2. Complete the New/Edit eCHR Section Config screen.

New/Edit eCHR Section Config

This section only discusses the fields in this screen that is relevant to the Generic eCHR Data WF Action Line Type.

Blue fields in the form are required and are flagged with an asterisk (*) in this document.

  • eCHR Line Type*: Select Generic eCHR Data WF Action Line Type.
  • Sql Statement*: Like all line types, the data collected is based on the SQL statement. This is where you will specify the data to include. This must be done with Eyelit support assistance.
  • Details Panel Menu Item: You have to develop your own details panel and it must be compatible with whatever the SQL statement returns.
  • Reference Key: The Reference Key field is the unique name given to this eCHR section config. You can have more than reference key, each can have its own SQL statement and details panel. This allows you to collect different data at different stages of the workflow.

You need to select the reference key when you configure the Collect eCHR Data action in the workflow to identify the eCHR section config.

The reason it doesn't reference the section config directly, but rather by reference key, is because if you upversion a version of the eCHR Profile, it will copy all sections and section configs. It will also copy the reference key. So, if your workflow is configured to use the latest eCHR Profile, you will not need to reconfigure the workflow.

Workstation

When you book onto a job, the page will load with the preview data. The preview is shown using the configured Details Panel Menu, but the data shown here in workstation is not yet in blockchain. If any of the data is incorrect, it can be fixed at the source, and then click the Refresh button to regenerate the preview using the latest data. When you are happy with the data, click the Complete Action button to commit it to blockchain.

You can view the blockchain data for the eCHR Line Type in one of the following ways:

  • Workstation: Click the eCHR button on the righthand navigation (provided it was configured in the button profile).
  • Item Status: By selecting the eCHR view.
  • eCHR Listing: By selecting the listing and clicking the Content button.
