Label Printing Dashboard

The label printing dashboard is useful for monitoring the label module. Here you can monitor the status of printers and works order print status (including scrap/scan reconciliation requirements) and also manage the approval process for new and updated labels.

At the top of the dashboard you can access all of the key functions related to label printing. You can also access overall scrap tracking and initiate/track label approvals processes.

Top Menu

Printing Issues and Printer Activity

On the left hand side of the dashboard, you can easily track the status of the printers around the factories and can view if there are any open printing issues. You can also easily spot if any printers are running with high levels of scrap, in case that needs looking into.

Product Label Change Requests and Approvals

For label approvers there is a summary of approvals status in the bottom left hand side of the screen, enabling the coordinated management of change requests and approvals.

You can click on the burger icon to get further detail.

Works Orders Without a Live Product Label

For those factories where product labelling is a blanket requirement, the top right corner of the dashboard highlights any works orders that are in place that do not have approved product label versions in place.

Users can click on the View Workorders button to get further information.

Label Updates

This section of the dashboard highlights draft product label versions (which will be generated in case of changes in label design / product label configuration or translations) and can help prompt the initiation of approvals processes.

This section also specifically highlights translations that are changed, to prompt the potential up version of product labels to pick up new translations.

Print, Scrap & Scan Reconciliation

In highly regulated industries, especially medical, all labels printed must be accounted for and there are clear requirements for scanning of labels printed.Where product labels have reconciliation turned on, the system will keep track of all labels printed vs requirements and the reconciliation details for these.

The dashboard clearly highlights any outstanding reconciliation and scrap information, so that this can be addressed quickly.
