In MESTEC 6.13.0 we release our newest action, Rich Text Viewer.  Users can now create WYSIWYG style instructions. In the Rich Text Viewer users can insert tables, images, and hyperlinks.  There are 15 preloaded fonts and many sizes, styles, and colours to choose from.  Keep the instructions organized with bullet points and numbered lists.  

Drag and Drop Images 

Users editing an Instruction Action can now drag and drop images into the Image Group Control. It’s as easy as it sounds. Size the cell like always, then drag an image into the UploadFile drop down box. Copy and Paste is also supported. If the file is not compatible the “Drop files here…” text prompt will disappear. Currently, the following formats are supported jpeg, .jpg, .png, and .bmp.  

eSignature 

In Release 6.13.0, we have begun to roll out eSignature. Users will now have the option to require an eSignature be captured to complete the following actions: 

To capture the eSignature the signer must reauthenticate with their password. MESTEC will also document the meaning of the signature, timestamp, the user info, and any additional comments made.  The history of the eSignature can be found in Item Status. 

To configure a workflow action to require an eSignature, edit the action and look for the eSign Permission dropdown. From here, designate the permission needed by the eSigner on action completion.  

SSO Upgrades 

Without getting too technical here, we have gone under the hood to make significant improvements to our token configuration and app registration methodology. Users will see improved performance, less timeouts, and a reduction in reauthentication requests.
