UI Improvements
A major upgrade of the MESTEC UI components has been performed behind the scenes. Initial visual changes will be minimal, but this update will bring in performance benefits from the off and enable MESTEC to improve the UI further over the coming releases.
Multi-language Translations
MESTEC engineering have been adding the foundations for the new multi-language capability. As with the visceral UI updates the localisation changes follow along the same lines internally, we are testing and validating the changes being made aren't impacting any existing functionality, as you can imagine changing every instance of text displayed, these changes range far and wide. Adopting this incremental change process helps de-risk the scope of the changes.
Extended Time Zone Support
With the introduction of globalisation into the product, localisation of date time formats along multi-time zone support is required to provide a consistent user experience when operating in different time zones.
All PO Invoicing Fields Now Have Filter Options
Further UI improvements include some neat changes to the Purchase Invoicing screen. All grid columns on this screen now supports filtering.
When selecting the 3 ellipses option in the column header a popup style control provides the ability to perform a simple or complex filtering on the column.
Multi-Select and Bulk Edit Test Cases in Test Plan Manager
Multi-select and bulk edit functionality is now available to use in the test cases grid, helping to save time when working on batched items. To activate the multi-edit popup, select the batch items that require updating and then press the multi-edit button.
The multi-edit popup below provides the ability to update one or more options for the selected items.
